"What Matters To You" Day

June 05 , 2018

To celebrate Covenant Health’s commitment to relationship-centred care we invite you to participate in a special day.

"What Matters To You" Day on June 6, 2018

"What Matters to You" Day began in Norway in 2014 with the goal of encouraging meaningful conversations between care providers, patients/residents and families.

When a health care provider asks the simple question of What Matters To You?" it can be the start of a powerful conversation that will help build trust, develop empathy and increase understanding of the person as well as the patient/resident. Ultimately, it improves the quality of care provided.

If you don’t work directly with patients or residents, you can ask those you work with what matters to them and share what matters to you.

Taking Part is Easy!

On June 6, 2018, start the conversation. Ask your patients or residents, "What matters to you?"

On this day and every day:

ASK WHAT MATTERS. LISTEN TO WHAT MATTERS. DO WHAT MATTERS.
