New Telehealth Scheduling Application Launch

November 30 , 2017

Dear valued partner of Alberta Health Service Telehealth,

On Dec 6, 2017 AHS with launch a new Telehealth scheduling application called iScheduler. This will replace the current videoconference scheduling (VCS) application. iScheduler will be used to manage requests for clinical, administrative, and learning sessions.

What is changing?

Beginning Dec 6, Telehealth requesters will need to create an online account in order to request Telehealth sessions. The set-up process will only take a few minutes and you can find instructions on the external Teleheatlh webpage. Once you've created an iScheduler account, you can log into the system and submit a request for a Telehealth session.

What about new and existing Telehealth requests?

Between Nov 30 and Dec 5, new Telehealth requests or modifications to existing Telehealth events will not be accepted. All existing sessions in VCS will be transferred into iScheduler during this freeze period. Starting Dec. 6, requesters can begin using the new iScheduler application.

For urgent requests to support direct patient care, please contact Telehealth.ClinicalRequest@AHS.ca

Where do I find more Information?

For more information about iScheduler, including FAQs, tip sheets, and an instructional video, visit the Telehealth webpage.

Thank you for your patience as we transition to our new Telehealth scheduling application. You will be able to access iScheduler at https;//ischeduler.albertahealthservices.ca beginning Dec. 6.
