Physician's Guide to Occupational Health & Safety
A Physician’s Guide to Occupational Health and Safety Responsibilities was developed through consultation with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta and the Alberta Government – Employment and Immigration, Workplace Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Work Safe Alberta.
It was developed to help physicians and their staff, as employers and as workers, to understand and maintain compliance with the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act, Regulation and Code to ensure the health and safety of themselves, their co-workers and their employees.
The focus is on the prevention of work-related illnesses and injuries.
