Xero Viewer has been implemented to improve clinician’s access to diagnostic images. Some of the key benefits are as follows:

  • Available on AHS PC desktops, personal PC’s and mobile devices
  • Ability to view all provincial imaging anywhere, anytime
  • Improved image quality
  • Direct access & available in Netcare
  • Login credentials are same as your AHS login (no new password to remember)

The requirements for accessing the Xero Viewer are as follows:

  • Must have a current Impax or Philips Intellispace user account
  • Must have an AHS Network VPN FOB for remote access or Netmotion
  • Must have AHS Healthy Credentials
  • Supported Browsers

Upcoming IMPAX Legacy System Impacts:

The DI architecture for IMPAX requires an upgrade that cannot run on windows XP; therefore, all workstations with IMPAX must be upgraded to Win7. The IMPAX client runs locally on the workstation while Xero Viewer can work from anywhere because it is a web based application that you access through a URL.
